Computer Problems....Give Feedback.
As of today 11/18/2010 my computer crashed and now I gotta get a new one. So updates on Beat Tape Co-Op are gonna be slow. I'm asking for the viewers to help me out what is better PC Or Mac? If you would like to leave a response in the comment section, let me know which you feel is better and why? This would really help me out on deciding what to get I have been using a PC for all of my life, but as of recently PC's have been giving me a lot of headaches. So I'm really thinking about switching it up. I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say. So bare with me through the updates and I will be back real soon.

I'm on a macbook pro, the hardware and software comes from one manufacturer so it matches perfectly. imagine a ford car with a bmw motor, this would be a pc. it needs all these updates every day for security and shit and the user interface isnt really usable (well win7 did alot concerning usability but mac is still the most intuitive system for normal human beings). its fast, you dont need to reboot, just close it and open it up the next day, 2seconds and its up. so the workflow and productivity is great on macs because you dont have to deal with stupid settings or security. you dont even need a scanner for viruses. next thing: safari, itunes, iLife (iphoto etc.) all the good shit is running right out of the box. you have the best tools for people that love music and media in general and of course the internet. just try a mac at your local store or reseller and let someone show you the advantages and the great quality. if you have a problem with your mac you just go to your reseller or apple store and they will fix it and help you out. if you want to sell your mac after two years its still worth like 3/4 of the price you paid two years ago (just search for older macs on ebay...its amazing how much money you get for your old mac). so its an investment that lasts really long. the last thing: we are into music. the music industry standard is mac. you got all the tools on mac. protools, logic etc etc. macs seem to be a bit more expensive but thats just the price compared to cheapy plastic hardware with windows...i dont know, go to a store and ask an advisor. oh and watch the videos on apple.com http://www.apple.com/macosx/what-is-macosx/
