MackONE's newest album is not a double-album, but rather a dual experiment in sound; twin sessions that deal with manipulating sound in an ever-expanding realm of possibilities. MackONE talks about his approach:
"'The Activity of Sound' was constructed using a mixing board that had some effects on it, and also had a keyboard running through it. The mixer had a feedback loop on it, looping one of the channels of the board to its auxiliary returns. The sounds from the board were run through different guitar pedals (a digital delay pedal being chief among them) and then routed to an audio interface, and then I used a digital workstation to manipulate that further.
