The Insomniac's Ode, Vol. 1 is the culmination of years of effort and passion by S!X - Music. This compilation represents the product of extensive work and exploration. Many of the artists featured here have been a significant source of inspiration and joy long before the label even existed. Working with these incredible individuals has been a true blessing. The result is a compilation where every track shines, and there's no need to skip a single song.
As is customary for our label, we aim for diversity within a specific genre. Our goal is to showcase all facets of what we call modern Trip-Hop - a blend of instrumental Hip-Hop, Nu Jazz, Abstract Hip-Hop, Beatmaking, and other forms of sample-based beat music.
This album is perfect for any occasion, whether it's a DJ set at a big party, a romantic evening, a solitary night, or a warm summer gathering with friends.
