Twin Cinema’s second album Archipelago explores leftfield beat making infused with found sounds and percussion, sinister fuzz and melodic guitar lines. From this growling menace emerges serene interludes, soundscapes and starry open spaces. Improvised ambient passages are coaxed out of stacked signal chains; pastoral, aquatic, psychedelic.
